I have been being pushed for some time by friends, Chuck Stecker specifically, and my wife, Athena Holtz, to begin a blog. I’m just beginning, obviously, and it will take a little time to find my footing and get this whole thing started.
Thanks for dropping by and come back soon when there will be, hopefully, something worth your time.

Your welcome!
Most of the time it is pretty good! We never know whose heart or spirit we will touch, when we are faithful to write and share what the Holy Spirit puts on our heart to share.
Been doing it for a long time, a little slower this year because of health issues. The Father has taken all that I have gone through and told me to write from the heart, hopefully from His heart, my journey with Him through all of my journey.
I have have tried to be honest, open and real and sharing that in the midst of it all, the valleys, the mountain tops, He has always been there, always had hope, even if it was but a thread at times.
The Coffeecup Ministry, the writing, was birthed out of this. I call it a ministry of hanging out, of listening, a lot of listening, building relationship, hopefully allowing my life reflect the Christ within.
I don’t write for the comments, but when I get them, and I hear, that is what I needed, it touches my heart. Sometimes, I ask the Father, you sure want me to post that and I head in my spirit, yes, I do and then, what I thought was a good post, was exactly was needed at the time.
Keep doing what your doing, write from the Fathers heart, we can’t do that when we allow oursleves to be a pen in His hands, to write His stories!
Blessings to Athena and you!

Meant to say “Sometimes, I ask the Father, you sure you want me to post that and I hear in my spirit, Yes, I do and then what I thought was a bad post, was exactly what was needed at that time.”
“Keep doing what your doing, write from the Father’s heart. We do that when when we allow ourselves to a be a pen in His hand, to write His stories!”
Sure wish there was a way to edit our posts ?

I hope to see a lot more of this. I know I need it and I’m sure many others do also. Thank you for the Broken but Undefeated. It is a great reminder for me.

Hi Patty, I’m sorry to be so delinquent in responding. This is a new thing to me and I’m still learning the discipline needed. Your words are deeply appreciated, and my intention is to include stories of broken people overcoming defeat and living victoriously.
Merry Christmas!
